Minds at work
S.T.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. At Zucker Hebrew Academy we acknowledge these 5 areas of learning complement one another in numerous ways and provide the conditions for scientific observation, creative expression and experimentation.
S.T.E.A.M. is a holistic approach to education that emphasizes hands-on learning and fosters collaboration, innovation, and problem solving.
It involves brainstorming, designing, building, and testing of the ideas students learn in class. Through application, children are empowered and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of these concepts. It provides a foundational understanding in each area and encourages students to apply this knowledge to real-world situations.
